What an absolutely amazing year this has been!  Thank you to all who supported, encouraged, inspired, uplifted, entrusted… I am so blessed to call you friends!

Just a handful of favourites from 2011…  Happy New Year everyone! ~L.

Oh my, I’m not sure where to start with this post… to say that these are forever friends (Mama H and my mom were BFF’s growing up!), to mention that some of my very first baby pictures were taken with these girls, to be amazed that everyone is all grown up and having families of their own or to state that this is just a really awesome family full of spontaneous laughter, beautiful song and whole lot of love!  We really did have fun!  Our session started with Grandma J’s vintage couch, moved to a bit of baby tossing (and catching on my part), broke out into the most wonderful harmonized rendition of the Wheels on the Bus (which, I might add, had tremendous “jazz hand” accompaniment… check out the over the shoulder shots below!) and then finished with a stroll to the creek.  A perfect afternoon!

H family, what a beautiful family you are!  Your joy is contagious and it is such a blessing to call you friends!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Oh the K family… a family very near and dear to my heart!  They have been family friends for a lifetime and graciously became my “second family” during my last year of university while I was in Edmonton and my husband was here in Calgary working.  I have so many fond memories of that year living with them and truly was blessed by their enormous generosity and love!

So this Thanksgiving, they were all together for just a few short days.  I took a lovely, quiet road trip up to Sherwood Park (sans kiddos!) and spent a few marvellous hours with them on their property.  There was a lot of laughter, a lot of play and some pretty adorable little children!  Oh how I adore families who adore each other!

K family, so great to see all of you again and spend some time together!  You are all so wonderful!
